Stamp Duty Reserve Tax (SDRT) is a type of government tax you pay when you buy shares electronically (as you do with Dodl). It's set at 0.5% of the value of the shares you’re buying and is deducted at the same time you buy them. You won’t pay it when you sell shares, or when you buy funds or exchange-traded funds.
