Before you can buy US shares you'll need to complete a W-8BEN form. It's nothing scary - just a few short questions to make sure you're eligible for the lower rate of tax on any income you get from your US shares. It's only needed for your investment ISA, lifetime ISA and GIA - you won't need to complete one for your pension.

If you don't think investing directly in US shares is for you, you can always add a touch of the US to your investments another way - by choosing a fund which tracks the US market, from the range of themed investments available.
