Cash investments (also known as money market funds) are low–risk investments that aim to protect your money and pay you some interest in the form of dividends. The funds invests in cash-like investments, short-term loans to government and companies (bonds), and cash deposits. Cash investments can be used to hold cash for the short term if you want some time to decide where else to invest or you might withdraw your money soon. Such as nearing the purchase of your first home, a wedding or your dream holiday. 🏡

Even though the funds are designed to be very low risk, returns are not guaranteed and cash funds aren’t the same as putting your money in a savings account.
